Got a new phone and can’t figure out the focus on the camera yet. Burned total of 236 calories between the 2 walks. Woke up this morning with my hamstrings killing me so taking it easy today on those and icing the knees. Hoping they feel better in the morning since I want to run again outside. Scale is back down to my lowest and I’m hoping to see a loss in the next few days. If it jumps back up I will be very upset and will have to figure out something to kick start it again.
Almost to the 5k! My pace is a bit faster too. Which is funny because it felt slow today. Did a walk DVD also with weights in my hands and even that helped bump up the burn. Scale is finally going back down the way it should but not under my lowest weight yet. Wish this weight would come off much faster but for 10 months I think I’m moving at a good pace for me.
Workout for today is done. Jogged my 5k on the treadmill in about 45 minutes. Still slow, but I’m working on it. Went for a walk with my sweetie this morning also. Tomorrow I’ll be jogging outside in the morning and I’m hoping to hit 5k. I see so many runners that I admire have paces of 11, 10, and 9 minutes and I’m at 14 or 15 minutes. Makes me feel like a sloth but I’m hoping the more I run it outside the faster I will get.
Yoga for about 25 minutes this morning. My creaky bones and tight hamstrings needed it. I’m not really religious but hopefully everyone is having a great Easter! heading to the buffet later to meet my family for Easter lunch and filling my plate with sushi,veggies and fruit. It’s funny but I am not tempted by alot of the other foods. I just hate trying to figure out the calories but I will try my best. Scale still hates me.
Really tried to get 3 miles today, but didn’t happen. Got my time down though. A little closer to 14 which is where I want to be by may 31st(run day). Went farther too so I’m hoping I’ll get the 5k outside too. Scale isn’t nudging and it’s making me insane so I try not to think about it. Sometimes my body goes 8 days without a loss so hope isn’t completely gone yet. I think I’m at 6 days so 2 more days of busting my hump before I become worried. Tomorrow is a rest day so yoga it is for these tired bones. My family all goes to the buffet to eat which sucks for my food choices but I still to sushi, fruit, and veggies for the most part. Going to eat a quest bar before hand, down water from my water bottle and limit myself to one plate. Only problem is people are always trying to get me to eat more and it kind of pisses me off. Don’t put your values on me OK. I am fine. The only one who understands is my husband and he supports me 100%.
Feeling crappy. Had to push through this workout. Knee is slightly bothering me so taking it easy so I can jog in the morning. Scale hasn’t moved over the past 4 days other than in the direction I don’t want it to go so I feel like all this work and I’m still a whale. Upside is that the chest press at 65 is getting easier.
Outside jog complete! Was pretty cold outside but that forced me to run and that warmed me up. My pace picked up at least and I hope as I run outside more it will continue to improve. Still not at 5k outside, but I’ll work on going farther everytime also. Scale is still evil today. No one tells you about when you loose 80 pounds you get cold all the time!
Was planning on jogging outside, but woke up to ice and snow on the ground so a nice jog on the treadmill it is. Slowed down my pace to 4.0 and 4.3 for 2 miles and 4.5 for the last few meters. My body feels much better slowly increasing speed instead of just jumping to too fast too soon. I am impatient about progress, but in the end slower is better. Jumped on the elliptical after and killed my butt for about 20 minutes. Scale hates me again today.
Tuesday workout done! 5k was actually done in about 45ish minutes with cool down walk at the end. Pushing myself to add more reps to my weight sessions. The jog this morning was pretty rough and im thinking im not ready for 5.0 on the treadmill yet. Tomorrow will be my outdoor jog and im going to try to go a little farther with a couple of periods of faster running at the end. Scale is bouncing around so ill just ignore the reading I got this morning. Need to buy new shorts for this summer since the others can fit over my workout pants and have room to spare.
I hit 80 pounds lost today since July ‘13 . Excited , but still can’t wait to hit my goal of 150. A couple of NSV for me this week are fitting into an xl in target workout gear, my husband being able to fit his whole arm around me when cuddling in bed, and jogging outside a little better each time. Onto 90 pounds next. Can’t wait to be a size 16!
